Certification

Polonez has obtained the main global certifications include:

  1. CCC Certification: China Compulsory Certification, also known as 3C certification, is a statutory mandatory safety certification system aimed at protecting consumer rights and ensuring personal and property safety.

  2. INMETRO Certification: The Brazilian government requires all products that meet Brazilian standards and other technical requirements to bear the mandatory INMETRO mark and the mark of a third-party organization recognized by the National Institute of Metrology, Standardization, and Industrial Quality (INMETRO) to enter the Brazilian market.

  3. DOT Certification: The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) certification indicates that the tire complies with safety standards set by the U.S. government. The 11-digit number following "DOT" is the tire's identification or serial number. DOT has three levels of standards, with level C being the minimum requirement.

  4. E-mark Certification: Derived from the regulations issued by the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE), this certification covers 54 countries in Europe, including both EU member states and non-EU countries in Eastern and Southern Europe. It requires high-speed and peripheral testing and complies with regulations ECE R30 and ECE R54.

  5. GCC Certification: Applicable in the Middle East region, including countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Yemen. The certification is based on specifications and includes aspects such as product specifications, speed class, load, tire category, and tire structure.

  6. SONCAP Certification: Nigeria's mandatory certification requires an ECE certificate and is valid for one year.

  7. SNI Certification: Indonesia's certification system requires factory audits and complies with specific regulations for passenger and light trucks.

  8. BIS Certification: India's certification involves factory audits and is based on specifications. The certificate is permanently valid.

  9. SASO Certification: Saudi Arabia's certification requires a GCC certificate and report or test reports from a recognized laboratory, along with other documentation.

  10. SABS Certification: South Africa's certification requires a three-step process involving an application, sample testing, and factory inspection, resulting in a certificate valid for three years unless canceled for other reasons.

These certifications ensure Polonez meet specific safety and performance standards across different regions, facilitating international trade and consumer safety.
